"As a child, dental hygiene was never a priority. As I aged, my mouth began to be overcrowded. Due to hereditary factors, I developed four extra canines, two on the top and two on the bottom. The overcrowding in my mouth was very noticeable. I was extremely uncomfortable laughing and smiling. It wasn't until my sophomore year in high school that braces became an option.

The dental hygienists at Parkview Family Dentistry always did an outstanding job during cleanings, but the complexity of braces requires much more than cleanings.  — I started seeing twin sisters, Jackie and Jenny when they were little girls. As all their adult teeth started coming in, there wasn't enough room for all of them. This severe crowding also caused difficulty for them to keep their teeth clean. The girls both were compliant throughout treatment, keeping appointments and worked diligently to keep their teeth clean while they were in the braces. The end results were awesome!  — Pam has been a long term patient that became interested in improving her smile. We talked about re-doing some old crowns that were showing the gray margins and also adding some of the other teeth that had big, old, discolored fillings.
